We did a wonderful event over the weekend, held in a Marquee with plenty of patio heaters on the go! The venue was in The Cotswolds and succulent lamb was on the menu. Roast Lamb with red onion and rosemary that has been cooking for over 8 hours is tremendous, we had mint sauce traditional or with natural yogurt and cranberry jelly as dressings and it was served with a choice of twice cooked chips or spicy rice with green beans, this isn’t on our traditional menu, but it was a huge success and was the clients suggestion.
The lamb was presented with wraps rather than rolls which again went down really well. For dessert we did Winter Trifle. There was a little frost on the ground, but all the lanterns made it look magical. This was the first Gourmet Gorillas wedding in 2019.
We are still taking bookings for the rest of the year, but the months are getting filled fast, don’t leave it until the last minute, ask me for a no obligation quote and if you want “something different” we are happy to oblige. Look out for new menu additions later on in the season and feel free to suggest your own!
